CHAPTER 484

Participation in EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) activities is divided into segments to cater to individual interests.  There is the National EAA, local chapters, and special divisions.

Membership in EAA Mother Lode Chapter 484 costs $25.00 per year.

Our club meets on the 2nd Friday of each Month in our Club Room at the Calaveras County Airport.  Social starts at 6 pm, dinner at 6:30 pm, meeting to follow.

Membership in the National EAA is independent of membership in the Mother Lode Chapter 484.  National membership may be acquired by applying to EAA Aviation Center, P.O. Box 6086, Oshkosh, WI 54903.  You may also call 800-564-6332 or click the link below.  National Membership starts at  $40.00 per year and includes 12 issues of Sport Aviation.

EAA is a division of the National Aeronautic Association and the sole representative in the United States of the FAI (Federal Aeronautique Internationale) for amateur-built aircraft. Other divisions under EAA include the IAC (International Aerobatic Club), Antique/Classics, Warbirds, and EAA Experimenter (Ultralight & Sport Aircraft) which have separate memberships with monthly publications.
